Le Mesnillard is about 54 kilometers south of Saint-Lô on the small river Douenne . Le Mesnillard is surrounded by the neighboring communities Reffuveille in the north, Juvigny les Vallées with Chasseguey in the east and northeast, Chèvreville in the east and southeast, Martigny in the south and southwest and Montigny in the west.
