Mortain-Bocage is a French commune with 2,942 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Manche in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Avranches and the Canton of Le Mortainais . It is an access community associated with the Normandy-Maine Regional Nature Park , but due to the merger that has taken place, parts of the community belong directly to the nature park.

Mortain-Bocage is about 32 kilometers east-southeast of Avranches on the Cance . Mortain-Bocage is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Clément-Rancoudray in the north, Barenton in the east, Le Teilleul in the southeast, Ferrières and Saint-Symphorien-des-Monts in the south, Lapenty in the southwest, Milly in the west, Romagny Fontenay in the west and Northwest and Le Neufbourg in the northwest.

On January 1, 2016, Mortain-Bocage was formed from the municipalities of Bion , Mortain , Notre-Dame-du-Touchet , Saint-Jean-du-Corail and Villechien .
