The estuary is called the Port du Lude . The hilly, barren and "wild" valley of the Lude is under nature protection because of its interesting fauna . To be observed are u. a. Badgers , foxes , small rodents and, above all, birds that nest in the bushy landscape.
history
Carolles, Saint-Pair-sur-Mer and Saint-Michel-des-Loups were merged in 1973 with the municipality of Bouillon , which then took on the name Jullouville. Saint-Pair-sur-Mer split off again in 1978 and is now an independent municipality again. Carolles did the same in 2000. Saint-Michel-des-Loups is still part of Jullouville today.
