The Couesnon touches the village center on its western side. The core of the neighboring municipality of Le Mont-Saint-Michel to the north lies on an island of the Baie du Mont-Saint-Michel , a bay of the English Channel . Le Mont-Saint-Michel also contains an enclave on the mainland that, like Beauvoir, is agricultural .

Animal park

A Jean-Pierre Macé had an animal park laid out in Beauvoir on the main road to Le Mont-Saint-Michel. On July 14, 1994, the facility was opened under the name Alligator Bay . Since then you can see a growing collection of different animal species there.
