The Canton Pontorson is a French constituency in Arrondissement Avranches , in Manche department and in the region of Normandy ; its main town is Pontorson , Patrick Larivière was the representative in the General Council of the Département from 2003 to 2010, followed by Jacques Gromellon.

Until the reorganization, the canton of Pontorson consisted of the 10 municipalities Aucey-la-Plaine , Beauvoir , Huisnes-sur-Mer , Macey , Le Mont-Saint-Michel , Pontorson , Sacey , Servon , Tanis and Vessey . Its layout corresponded to an area of 128 km 2 .
The municipality of Pontorson includes the earlier municipalities (incorporated since 1973): Ardevon, Boucey, Cormeray, Moidrey, Les Pas and Curey.
