The canton of Cerisy-la-Salle was a French canton in the arrondissement Coutances , in the department of Manche and in the region of Normandy until 2015 ; its main town was Cerisy-la-Salle , the last representative in the General Council of the Département was Claude Halbecq from 1994 to 2015 (re-elected in 2008).

The canton was 133 km² and had (1999) 5,238 inhabitants, which corresponded to a population density of 39 inhabitants per km².
