Vessey is a village and a former French community with 385 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Manche department in the region of Normandy . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Avranches and the Pontorson .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the previous municipalities of Pontorson , Macey and Vessey were merged to form Commune nouvelle Pontorson . The former municipalities have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative seat is in the village of Pontorson.
