geography
Aucey-la-Plaine is located in the southwest of the department of Manche on the border with Brittany. Aucey-la-Plaine is bordered by three rivers: the Couesnon and two of its tributaries.
The landscape is flat and is mainly used for agriculture. The low-lying part along the Couesnon is swampy and often flooded in winter.
