Le GRIPPON is a French municipality with 370 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Manche department in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the canton of Bréhal and the Arrondissement of Avranches .

It was created with effect from January 1, 2016 as Commune nouvelle through the amalgamation of the former communes of Champcervon and Les Chambres , which were not granted the status of commune déléguée in the new commune . The administrative headquarters are in Champcervon.

By 1826 there was a community called Le Grippon. This was incorporated into Les Chambres .
