Saint-Quentin-sur-le- Homme is a French commune with 1,296 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Manche in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Avranches and the Canton of Pontorson .
geography
The municipality is located about five kilometers southeast of Avranches and borders the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel in the southwest of the municipality . The neighboring municipalities of Saint-Quentin-sur-le-Homme are:
- Saint-Loup in the north,
- Saint-Ovin and Marcilly in the northeast,
- Ducey-Les Chéris with Les Chéris and Ducey in the southeast,
- Poilley and Pontaubault in the southwest,
- Le Val-Saint-Père to the west and
- Saint-Martin-des-Champs in the north-west.
The river Sélune runs along the southern municipal boundary and flows into the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel in an estuary . The municipality is drained from the Ruisseau de Guyot , which flows into the Sélune and from the Ruisseau du Moulinet (also: Ruisseau de Lait Bouilli ), which flows further north directly into the bay.
Transport links
Duras is away from national traffic connections. In the west, the municipality is crossed by the A84 motorway .
