Dennis Visser (born April 3, 1995 in Sneek ) is a Dutch short tracker .

Career

Visser started internationally for the first time at the Junior World Championships 2013 in Warsaw . His best placings were 18th place over 1000 m and eighth place with the relay. The following year he won ninth place with the relay at the Junior World Championships in Erzurum . The 25th place over 500 m was his best individual result there. His World Cup debut was in Nagoya in the 2015/16 season . He finished 32nd over 1500 m and 15th over 1000 m. With the relay he won his first World Cup there. At the 2016 European Championships in Sochi , he won the gold medal with the relay. In February 2016 he finished second with the relay at the World Cup in Dordrecht . His best placings at the 2016 World Championships in Seoul were 19th place over 500 m and eighth place with the relay. In the 2016/17 season he came in second place with the relay three times in the World Cup. In Minsk he won his second World Cup victory with the relay. At the season highlight of the 2017 World Championships in Rotterdam , he won the gold medal with the relay. The following year he won the gold medal with the relay at the European Championships in Dresden . In the 2018/19 season he won the season in Almaty and ran into third place with the season in Calgary . At the 2019 European Championships in Dordrecht and at the 2020 European Championships in Debrecen , he won the silver medal with the relay.
