Denys Sylantiev
Denys Olehowytsch Sylantjew ( Ukrainian Денис Олегович Силантьев ; born October 3, 1976 in Zaporizhia ) is a former swimmer from Ukraine .
He won the bronze medal in the 200 m butterfly at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney . He also won the Mare Nostrum swim series three times . In 2004 he became European champion in his parade discipline, the 200 m butterfly.
In 1998 he was voted Europe's Swimmer of the Year .
