The Department of Aluminé is located in the west of the Neuquén province in southern Argentina and is one of 16 administrative units in the province.
It is bordered by the Picunches Department in the north, the Catán Lil Department in the east, the Huiliches Department in the south and Chile in the west .
The capital of the Department of Aluminé is the Aluminé of the same name .
