The department of Constitución is located in the south of the province of Santa Fe in central Argentina and is one of 19 administrative units in the province.
It borders in the north on the departments of Caseros , San Lorenzo and Rosario , as well as the province of Entre Ríos , in the east and south on the province of Buenos Aires and in the west on the department General López .
The capital of the Department of Constitución is Villa Constitución .
