The department of Caseros is located in the west of the province of Santa Fe in central Argentina and is one of 19 administrative units in the province.
It is bordered to the north by the departments of Belgrano and Iriondo , to the east by the department of San Lorenzo , to the south by the departments of Constitución and General López, and to the west by the province of Cordoba .
The capital of the department of Caseros is Casilda .
