Dequede (family)
Dequede even Degwede , Deckwede or de Quede , the name is an originally altmärk een noble family .
history
The family borrows its name from the Dequede family estate in the Altmark . In 1272, the Dequede are first mentioned as an Altmark knight family. Since the 1330s, the family in the Osterburg district has been named as a fief. From 1371 they appeared as afterfeeds of the Lords of Alvensleben . The Dequede were later able to spread into the Havelland . Many members played in the Prussian army , a military career .

- Georg Werner von Dequede († 1757), was a Prussian major and adjutant general to the Prince of Prussia .
The affiliation of the Vice Country Master of the Teutonic Order in Prussia Ludwig von Queden († after 1250) to the Dequede family is controversial.

The family coat of arms shows three silver stove forks without stems, 2.1 placed in blue. On the helmet with blue and silver blankets, a silver-slipped red hat with four blue and silver feathers.
