The Stralsunder is a passenger ship with home port Wolgast .

It was built in 1957 at the Stralsund shipyard and partly financed with donations from the citizens of Stralsund. The ship served from 1957 to 1991 as a passenger ferry from Stralsund to Altefähr on Rügen in the service of VEBWhite Fleet Stralsund”. Stralsund celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2007 in its home port of Stralsund. In 2009 the ship was sold to Wolgast. It is now operated by Wolgaster Personenschifffahrt for harbor tours, backwater and Peene river trips .

The Stralsund is 25.4 meters long, 5.4 meters wide and has a draft of 1.35 meters. The hull of the ship is divided into 16 transverse bulkheads. With a marine diesel engine of the type 4 NVD 24, the ship can reach 7.5  knots .
