The Hamburg architect Sascha Hoerne is found dead. On the spot, the picture of a car theft emerges, but it was staged, as Commissioner Norgaard discovers at second glance. The architect is expecting a child with the daughter of the Usedom building contractor Jörn Sievers, his boss. The former public prosecutor Lassow and the officer Norgaard try to find out what motive the future father-in-law would have had to kill his daughter's friend in cold blood.
