The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd is on Paradiesweg 1 in Großtöpfer , a district of Geismar in the Eichsfeld district in Thuringia . The parish large pottery belongs to the parish of Great pottery in the parish of Mulhouse the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The four-axis , rectangular hall church was built from 1772 to 1775 with a three-sided end of the choir and roof tower in the west. It is built in stone-faced natural stone masonry . The roof tower and its dome are slated . The interior has three-sided galleries and is spanned with a flat vault . On the west side there are two tombstones of a married couple with an inscription and the date 1605. Next to it is the Hanstein coat of arms . The organ with 9 registers , divided into a manual and a pedal , was built by Friedrich Petersilie in 1898 and rebuilt by Gustav Kühn around 1930.
