action

Subject

An outsider discovers his telekinetic skills. As a result, he is even more excluded from society, because they fear his abilities. Only through friendship with another genius does he learn to control his powers.

introduction

Peter is playing in an ice hockey game. But he has to sit on the reserve bench the whole time. He is not accepted by the others as a full-fledged player. He leaves the team frustrated. That same evening, Peter and his family go to a magic show. This inspires him so much that he also wants to become a magician.

Bulk

Peter gets books on magic and spirituality. Peter is laughed at by his classmate, but he doesn't let himself be deterred from his goal. And so he actually begins to develop psychic abilities. He can move things without touching them. But he cannot control his powers, and so much is destroyed in the process.

To make himself more popular with his classmates, Peter demonstrates his skills. This in turn draws the attention of adults to him, and many parents forbid their children to interact with him because they fear his abilities.

When Peter is excluded from a birthday party, it makes him really angry. With his powers he boycotted the party and was discovered. On his subsequent escape, he causes great property damage. This is how the authorities become aware of him and he is taken to a hospital. Various tests are carried out on him in the hospital, but the doctors cannot find anything on him. That's why he should have an operation on his head the next day. When Peter finds out, he escapes from the hospital.

On his escape he meets Alexander. Alexander is a young cello virtuoso. The boy is the first person who understands Peter because he is a genius himself. Alexander teaches Peter that the most important thing about talent is practice. So Peter learns from him how to control his powers.

In the meantime, a catastrophe looms in the city. The military had transported a military explosive by helicopter. But the container with the explosives fell from the helicopter into a factory building. As soon as the explosive escapes from the airtight container, it will explode. The impact created a small leak from which some of the liquid threatens to leak. Therefore, the container cannot be salvaged.

Enough

The authorities are now turning to Peter's environment so that he can carry out the rescue with his telekinetic powers. Thanks to Alexander's support, he succeeds too. Then Peter helps Alexander again. So he can appear at a concert and prove his talent. After Alexander played Antonin Dvorak's Opus 104 on the cello, the audience applauds and flowers fly onto the concert stage. This is followed by the end credits with the English version of the song "Przyjaciel wie" by Krzysztof Antkowiak and Jarosław Bułka.

analysis

The film is split into two levels: a fantasy world in which the main character Peter develops magical abilities, and the reality world in the film with a society that excludes people because they are not as the norm demands.

The main character has to go through a difficult learning process until Peter finds a friend who is in a similar situation because he too is viewed suspiciously by society as a genius. In this way Peter learns to control his strength in order to finally be able to integrate into society.
