action

“The Black Mountain” is a huge elephant that is on the move in the Indian jungle. He leads his herd safely through life until one day a frenzied bull elephant (in the mast ) intrudes into a village, surprises them at a cheerful festival and destroys their village. Angry about this, the villagers decide to start a hunt for the elephants so that something like this doesn't happen again. The giants are then driven out of the forest, over a river crossing, into a large gate, from which they are individually caught and tamed. Only “the black mountain” cannot be tamed and refuses to subordinate itself to people. Manu, the overseer's little son, speaks well to him and thus manages to get him to create. From then on they work together in the forest and become friends.

One day a rutting bull elephant visits the people again and meets Manu. The little Mahut tries to escape when his big companion rushes to his aid and begins a terrible fight with the pursuer, as a result of which he falls to the ground, fatally hit. “The Black Mountain” had saved Manu's life and was given freedom as thanks for it.
