The white Apache - The Revenge of the Half-Blood (original title: Bianco Apache ) is a late spaghetti western . Bruno Mattei directed the 1986 film. The German-language premiere took place on July 17, 2007 on a private broadcaster.

action

Deep in the American West, a small train of wagons is attacked by bandits, and whether men, women or children are slaughtered. Shortly before killing the last survivor, Apaches reach the scene and kill the gangsters. They rescue a heavily pregnant woman and take her to their tent village, where she gives birth to a boy but dies of exhaustion. The child is called Shining Sky and, as the brother of Black Wolf, is raised by the Indian chief White Bear like his own son. The two boys are inseparable in their childhood and youth, but fall apart over the beautiful Rising Sun and her love for her. In a duel for them, Black Wolf dies unhappy.

Shining Sky leaves his foster family and lives with the whites. He quickly realizes, however, that these are a lying race that only have the killing of the Apaches in mind to prevent them from settling in the territory. After hostilities and quarrels with the whites, especially disputes with a racist colonel governor, he returns to the Indians to fight with them against the taking over of their ancestral lands.

criticism

It is a “highly average spaghetti western”, writes the lexicon of international film , and Christian Keßler notes that with B-film director Mattei one is not “a rousing plea against racism”, but “another story of revenge” little more violence than in the past ”.

Main actor Harrison is the son of Richard Harrison , who is also active in the Spaghetti Western .
