career

High school and university

White graduated from Legend High School in the city of Parker , Colorado in 2012 . In his last playing year at high school, he had scored an average of 17.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.1 basket assists per match for the school team.  White did not receive scholarship offers from universities in the first division of the NCAA , he enrolled at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), took up a business degree, and immediately became a top performer on the college basketball team that was part of the second NCAA division. After his first year (2012/13) he was named the best newcomer at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference . In the 2013/14 season White scored an average of 22.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.1 ball wins per game. In 2014/15 he was able to increase these values: In 33 appearances for UCCS, he achieved an average of 25.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 2.1 blocked throws and 2.2 ball wins. In terms of the total number of points scored, White was in first place in the NCAA Division 2 with 851 this game year, with the points average (25.8) he was second. He received awards that season as "All American" (named by Division II Bulletin , Daktronics and the US Association of Basketball Coaches NABC ). At UCCS, with a total of 1912 points and 343 basket assists in both categories, he made it to the top of the university team's "eternal best list" in three years.

White left UCCS in 2015 and accepted the challenge to play in the first NCAA division at the University of Colorado . Because of the change provision, he was forced to suspend the 2015/16 season before he reinforced the Colorado team called "Buffs" in the 2016/17 season. At the higher level of performance, he also promptly hit and became the team's best thrower: In 34 season appearances for Colorado in the 2016/17 season, White averaged 18.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.4 blocked opposing throws and 1,2 ball conquests.

Professional basketball

Thanks to his achievements first in the second, then in the first division of the NCAA, the NBA scouts became aware of White. In the 2017 draft , the San Antonio Spurs finally secured  his rights. He was called up as the 29th player, so as the penultimate of the first selection round, by the Texans. In his 2017/18 NBA premiere season, White was used in just 17 games, averaging 3.2 points per game. With San Antonio's training team Austin Spurs , he won the championship title in the NBA G-League and achieved averages of 20.1 points, 5 rebounds and 3.3 assists per match during the season.
