Desolated is a metalcore band from Southampton , United Kingdom , formed in 2007 .
history
Desolated was founded in 2007 in the British city of Southampton and consists of singer Paul Williams, guitarists Rich Unsworth and deathcore Andy, bassist Ethan Gardener and drummer Mitch White.
On July 9, 2012, the second studio album Verse of Judas was released on Holy Roar Records . The 2010 debut album The Corruption of Life was self-produced and published.
Desolated has already played concerts with groups such as First Blood , Born from Pain , Coldburn , Science of Sleep , Nasty and War from a Harlots Mouth . The group played as a replacement for Raised Fist on With Full Force in 2014 .
On June 24, 2014 it was announced that the band had signed a recording deal with Siege of Amida Records / Century Media . A new album for spring 2015 has also been announced. Also before the album was released, a 7 "was released under the name Fear of Life . The EP Disorder of Mind and the album Verse of Judas were reissued digitally through Siege of Amida Records. In October 2014 Desolated toured along as headliners the west coast of the United States .
Between 6 and 28 March 2015, the group toured Nasty , Cruel Hand , Lionheart and Coldburn as part of the of Anarchy Tour button through Europe . On February 5, 2016, The End was their third album, this time on Beatdown Hardwear .
style
In the past, the band has been accused of being a copy of Brutality Will Prevail . However, in contrast to Brutality Will Prevail, Desolated plays a harder version of Hardcore Punk, which is also known as Beatdown or Moshcore.
