Deta Hedman (born November 14, 1959 in Kingston , Jamaica ) is an English dart player with the nickname "The Dark Destroyer".

The current world number one and winner of the Winmau World Masters in 1994 began participating in tournaments again in 2009 after a 12-year break. In 2010 and 2011 she reached the semifinals of the World Professional Darts Championship and finally the final in 2012 in which she lost 2-1 to Anastassija Dobromyslowa .

As the first and only woman so far, she qualified for the main field of the UK Open in 2004 and 2005, and in 2005 she reached 33rd place.
