The PDC Women's World Darts Championship 2010 was the first and so far the only PDC women's world championship . Rounds 1 to 4 (semi-finals) were played on June 12, 2010 in the Metrodome in Barnsley . The final was played on July 24, 2010 during the World Matchplay in the Empress Ballroom of Winter Gardens in Blackpool .

The winner was the American Stacy Bromberg , who defeated the Englishwoman Tricia Wright 6: 5 legs in the final.

mode

The tournament was played in the best of legs mode and the double-out variant . The first player to throw exactly 501 points won a leg . The last throw of a leg had to be on a double field.

The tournament was played in a knockout system . Game mode from the first round to the semifinals was a best of 7 legs . The final was held in the best of 11 legs mode.

Attendees

A total of 32 players took part in the tournament. 20 of them qualified through the Riley's Pub Qualifiers. 11 players came from the regional qualifying tournaments. Anastasia Dobromyslova was the only active female player who did not have to qualify in the Professional Dart Players Association.

Stacy Bromberg and Tricia Wright qualified with their participation in the finals for the Grand Slam of Darts 2010 , in which, however, both could not win. In addition, they each received a Tour Card for the PDC Pro Tour 2011 . They could also have taken part in the PDC Pro Tour 2012 with their Tour Card, but both of them refused to participate.
