The action is initiated in the Mori detective agency. Kogoro picks up the phone and receives a bomb threat with a code from the unknown perpetrator. A car explodes in front of Kogoro's detective agency.
During a training session for the Tokyo Spirits footballers, the Detective Boys are trained by Hideo Akagi.
