Dezerea Bryant (born April 27, 1993 in Milwaukee ) is an American sprinter who specializes in the 200-meter run .

Athletic career

Dezerea Bryant gained her first international experience in 2010 at the Junior World Championships in Moncton , where she won the gold medal in the US 4 x 100 meter relay in 43.44 s. Two years later, she defended her title at the Junior World Championships in Barcelona with the relay in 43.89 s and won the bronze medal in the 200-meter run in 23.15 s and was eliminated in the semifinals over 100 meters with 11.77 s. In 2015 she took part for the first time in the NACAC championships in San José , Costa Rica , where she won the relay in 42.24 s and won the bronze medal over 200 meters in 22.58 s behind her compatriot Kyra Jefferson and Semoy Hackett from Trinidad and Tobago. At the IAAF World Relays 2017 in the Bahamas, she finished third behind the teams from Jamaica and Germany with the 4 x 200 meter relay in 1: 30.87 minutes. The following year she won the NACAC Championships in Toronto in 42.50 s again with the relay and finished fourth in the 100-meter run in 11.17 s. At the IAAF World Relays 2019 in Yokohama , she won the 4 x 100 meter relay in 43.27 s and qualified over 200 meters for the World Championships in Doha , where she finished fifth in 22.63 s in the final Took place.
