Diósd [ di.oʒd ] or in German Orasch is a small town on the southwestern outskirts of the Hungarian capital Budapest . The community itself lies between Törökbálint (Großturwall) and Érd (Hanselbeck) .
history
The German name of the municipality is not only due to the centuries-long history of Austria and Hungary , but also goes back to the fact that the village is a Swabian settlement. Orasch is first mentioned in the time of King Sigismund , including the castle, which appeared in writing as early as 1417.
Attractions
Diósd has many beautiful old farmhouses from the Danube Swabian era and a radio and television museum.
traffic
Diósd is connected to the capital by rail and the inter-local bus system. The M7 motorway and the M0 expressway are close by, and highway 7 runs through the city.
