Diallo Guidileye (born December 30, 1989 in Djadjibiné , Gorgol ) is a Mauritanian - French football player .

Career

society

Guidileye came to France as a child, grew up near the capital Paris and started playing football at AS Poissy, which is located there . From there, the player, who played mainly in defensive midfield, moved to the youth department of the professional club ES Troyes AC . He stood out by good performance and was allowed to debut on November 30, 2007 at the age of 17 in a 2-1 defeat against US Boulogne in the second highest French league, where he was on the pitch for the full 90 minutes. He became a regular player straight away, was awarded a professional contract a little later and hardly missed a game in the following months. In 2009, however, he had to accept the relegation of his team and remained loyal to the club in this situation, for which he was rewarded with direct promotion in 2010. In the following time, he continued to draw attention to himself through good performances and thus aroused the interest of several first division clubs, including the Stade Brest , which committed him to on January 31, 2011 for a transfer fee of 700,000 euros. He was allowed to stay in Troyes on loan until the summer and only moved to Brest at the beginning of the 2011/12 season.

During the pre-season season in summer 2011, he struggled with a meniscus injury . On September 21, 2011, he was substituted on in an encounter against FCO Dijon in the 36th minute for Mario Lička and made his first game at the first division level. But then he didn't make the breakthrough at Brest and had to be content with sporadic missions. This was partly due to the fact that he was still struggling with meniscus discomfort. In the second half of 2012 he was not called up a single time, which led to the fact that he was loaned to the second division club LB Châteauroux in January 2013 . In this he got more match practice before he returned in the summer to Stade Brest, which has since been relegated to the second division. In the 2013/14 season he was able to fight for a permanent place in the first team.

In the summer of 2014, he turned his back not only on Brest but also on France when he moved to the Cypriot first division club AEL Limassol on a free transfer . Shortly thereafter, he made his debut in European competition when he stood in a 1-0 win against Zenit Saint Petersburg in the Champions League qualifying for the full 90 minutes; However, due to a 3-0 defeat in the second leg, the team had to be satisfied with a starting place in the Europa League and already failed there in the play-offs. In the following time he was regularly called up and did not come with the team in the league beyond a placement in the middle of the table. In the summer of 2015, his contract was not renewed and he returned to France to join second division AS Nancy . At Nancy he got a regular place in the defensive midfield and was involved in winning the second division championship and the associated promotion to the top division in 2016.

For the 2017/18 season he moved to the Turkish first division club Gençlerbirliği Ankara and moved on to FK Keşlə after one season .

National team

National coach Alain Moizan invited Guidileye, who was 18 at the time , to join the Mauritanian senior national team in 2008 in order to qualify for the 2010 African Cup . However, the player decided against it and preferred a career in the French youth national teams. In 2008 he was in the squad of the U-19 team and one year later took part with the U-20 in the Mediterranean Games in 2009 , with France finishing fourth. For this purpose, he had been in the U-21 squad a few months earlier, but without being used for them.

In 2013, Guidileye decided in favor of a career in the Mauritanian team, for which he was still eligible to play, since he had only played for France in the youth field. On September 8, 2013, at the age of 23, he made his debut in a 0-0 draw against Canada as a national player in his home country and was regularly appointed to the team in the following years.
