from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Diana Göhringer (* 1980 in Heidelberg ) is a German computer scientist and heads the Chair for Adaptive Dynamic Systems at the Technical University of Dresden .

Career

After graduating from high school in 1999, Göhringer studied electrical engineering and information technology at the University of Karlsruhe (TH) at the Bunsen-Gymnasium Heidelberg . After she had written her diploma thesis at Xilinx in San José , she graduated in 2006 as Dipl.-Ing. from. From 2007 to 2012 she was a research assistant and project manager at the Ettlingen location of the Fraunhofer Institute for Optronics, System Technology and Image Evaluation . In 2011, with a dissertation on “Flexible Design and Dynamic Utilization of Adaptive Scalable Multi-Core Systems” with Jürgen Becker at KIT, she was awarded “summa cum laude” as a Dr.-Ing. PhD. From 2012 to 2013 she headed the Young Investigator Group CADEMA ( Computer Aided Design and Exploration of Multi-Core Architectures) at KIT. In 2013, she accepted the call as a junior professor at the Ruhr University Bochum , where she headed the application- specific multi-core architectures (MCA) working group . In April 2017 she moved to the TU Dresden, where she has held the Chair for Adaptive Dynamic Systems since then.

Her research activities focus on reconfigurable computing systems , application-specific multi-core architectures, communication infrastructures (networks-on-chip), system simulators / virtual platforms , hardware-software co-design and runtime systems .
