The 100 Greatest Drummers of All Time is a list published in 2016 by the American pop magazine Rolling Stone of what they consider to be the 100 best drummers of all time.

Emergence

The list of the best drummers is the second comprehensive list of the Rolling Stone that affects instrumental musicians, after that of the 100 best guitarists . The list was compiled by 19 editors of the magazine and appeared on the magazine's website on March 31, 2016. In contrast to the guitarist ranking, no professional musicians were involved in the selection process. The selection focuses on musicians from the pop and rock area , but also includes some representatives of jazz . Particular emphasis was placed on nuances and musicality.
