The 100 Greatest Singers of All Time is a list published in 2008 by the American pop magazine Rolling Stone with what they consider to be the 100 best singers of all time. 99 of those listed come from English-speaking countries; the only exception is Björk , although she also sings her famous songs in English.

Emergence

The list was drawn up by a 179-person jury, whose members are either musicians or producers. In addition to the singers themselves, the corresponding songs were also published, which underlined the presence of the artists, so-called key tracks .
