action

The new sports teacher Krzysztof Janota begins his work at a high school in a Polish provincial town. The subject of sport has not yet received much support at this school. But the ambitious Janota has big goals. He formed a handball team out of the students , which thanks to his support quickly achieved success and became the pride of the school. But not all students are satisfied with the new situation at the school. The frequent training takes the time for other activities. A musically gifted student has to cancel his music lessons in order to meet the wishes of the sports teacher. Another student is assigned by Janota to spy on the other students. As the annual school anniversary approaches, there is a conflict between the sports teacher Janota and the history teacher Ejmont. Ejmont prepares a theater performance with the students, but the students are often unable to take part in the rehearsals because they have to go to Janota's handball training. The school director finally decides that a Spartakiad should be organized instead of the performance . Ejmont does not want to accept this, however, does not find any support in the teaching staff. When Janota and a student finally got into a fight during a training session, the tide turned. Janota tortured the boy until he began to fight back. When the student has to realize that he can not prevail against the teacher, he tries suicide to commit. Only now does the teaching staff recognize the false ambition of teacher Janota. His career is over.
