The Little Gods were a pop-punk band from Constance founded in 1996 . They broke up in 2009.
history
Three months after the band was founded, the demo prototype , which appears in 1997, is recorded. In 1999 the "double demo" Ein Arsch Voller Sonne and Eine Sonne Voller Arsch with a total of 17 songs was released. Both demos were sold out.
In 2002 the debut album Antipunk was released , which brought them an appearance at the Southside Festival 2004. In September 2005, the second album, Der Schatz der Riffpiraten , was released. In its review of the album, the music magazine Visions describes Die Kleine Götter as the "second best band in the world" ( Armin Linder : Visions No. 151), alluding to the doctors' own designation ("best band in the world" ). Laut.de writes in a review: "The sometimes quite demanding lyrics remind here and there of the pen of Marcus Wiebusch , the music in turn of The Best Band in the World ." ( Mathias Möller :). In 2006 the band played at Rock am See .
In March 2008 the third album was released at home . It was produced by Hahn & Hahn ( Nena , The Robocop Kraus , Farmer Boys ), mastered by Michael Schwabe ( Beatsteaks , Wir sind Helden , Die Toten Hosen ).
On December 23, 2008 they announced their dissolution and played their farewell concert on April 12 in the Kulturladen in Konstanz.
