Diego Boneta
Diego Andrés González Boneta (born November 29, 1990 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican actor and singer .
Life
Diego Boneta was born in Mexico City to Astrid Boneta and Lauro González. His father is Mexican while his mother was born in the United States . He is fluent in Spanish and English . He also has triple citizenship , Mexico, USA and Spain.
Acting career
He began his career in Mexico in 2003 on the reality show Código FAMA. He then had roles in the Mexican telenovelas Alegrijes y rebujos and Misión SOS . He made his breakthrough in Mexico with the role of Rocco Bezauri in the youth telenovela Rebelde , in which he could be seen from 2005 to 2006.
His first role in an American television series was in 2010 as Tiki Delgado in the Disney XD television series Zeke and Luther . He became known through the role of Javier Luna in the youth series 90210 . This was followed by an arc in the ABC Family television series Pretty Little Liars . In 2011 he was next to Meaghan Jette Martin as Tyler Adams in Girls Club 2 - Be careful! , the sequel to Girls Club - Be careful! to see. His international breakthrough came with the musical film Rock of Ages , in which he played the main male role of Drew Boley alongside Tom Cruise . Since October 2012 he has played the leading role of Miles in the MTV television series Underemployed . He also played a leading role in Scream Queens in 2015 and can be seen there as Pete. Boneta got his biggest role after playing Luis Miguel , a Grammy-winning artist, in a TV bio-musical series . The show is based on the early career of the famous Mexican artist who became an icon around the world. The series officially premiered on April 22, 2018 at 9 p.m. on Telemundo (USA) and can be seen in Latin America, as well as Spain, on Netflix.
Music career
While at Rebelde , he released his debut album Diego , which was released in 2005. The first single "Responde" made it to number 13 on the Mexican charts. His songs could also be heard in the telenovela Rebelde . An international tour followed with the Mexican pop group RBD as a guest.
On March 25, 2008 Boneta released his second album called Indigo . It contained the songs Perdido en Ti and Losing Me . The album was produced and written by Mitch Allan. In the same year he was in the music video for About You Now by Miranda Cosgrove to see.
