properties

Dienochlor is a flammable yellow solid that is practically insoluble in water. It decomposes when heated above 250 ° C. It decomposes rapidly when exposed to sunlight.

use

Dienochlor is used as an acaricide to control mites ( Tetranychus spp. , Red spider and Polyphagotarsonemus latus ) on roses, chrysanthemums and other ornamental plants.

Admission

Dienochlor was approved in the FRG between 1971 and 1990.

In the European Union, dienochlor was not included in Annex I of Directive 91/414 / EEC with Regulation (EC) No. 2076/2002 of November 20, 2002. For this reason, no plant protection products containing dienochlor may be approved in the member states of the EU.

In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, no pesticides with this active ingredient are permitted.
