Dieter Tiedemann

Dieter Tiedemann (born March 13, 1935 in Bremerhaven ) is a Bremen politician (SPD). He was a Bremen senator .

biography

education and profession

Tiedemann graduated from the commercial high school at the Pestalozzi School in Bremerhaven . From 1954 to 1957 he was a trainee inspector for the public service in Bremerhaven and then until 1971 - most recently as chief tax officer at the magistrate of the seaside city of Bremerhaven. Between 1963 and 1967 he also worked as a specialist teacher for the Hanover municipal administration school .

After his tenure as a senator, he worked as an independent economic, tax and business consultant in Bremerhaven-Leherheide .

politics

Tiedemann has been a member of the SPD since 1960 . From 1962 to 1969 he was chairman of the Young Socialists (Juso) in Bremerhaven. For the period from 1971 to 1975 the SPD elected him to the board of the sub-district board of Bremerhaven.

He was a member of Bremen's citizenship from 1971 to 1975 and from 1979 to 1995 . From 1975 to 1979 he was Senator for Economics and Foreign Trade in Senate Koschnick III as the successor to Senator Karl-Heinz Jantzen (SPD). He was followed by Senator Karl Willms (SPD) in office.
