Kristina Vogt (2019)

Kristina Vogt (born June 3, 1965 in Münster ) is a German politician . She is a member of the parliamentary group of the Bremen Left in the Bremen citizenship . Since August 2019 she has been Bremen's Senator for Economy, Labor and Europe in the Senate Bovenschulte .

biography

education and profession

Vogt passed his Abitur in Münster. She is a paralegal and a single mother. She has lived in the west of Bremen since 1984 .

politics

Vogt has been a member of the Die Linke party since 2008 and was a member of the state executive committee of their party from 2010 to 2011. From 2008 to 2011 she was active as a knowledgeable citizen on the advisory board of the Bremen-Walle district . From February 2011 to June 2011 Vogt was also a member of the Deputation for Environment, Construction and Transport.

In the state election in Bremen in 2011 she was the top candidate of the Bremen Left and has been a member of the Bremen citizenship since June 8, 2011. She was elected group leader of the Left. Vogt is currently the spokeswoman for her parliamentary group for education and home affairs.

In the 18th electoral term she represented her parliamentary group in the committees: Poverty Reduction, (non-permanent) amendment of the state constitution, constitution and rules of procedure, election review, science, media, data protection and freedom of information and was a member of the Parliamentary Control Commission (guest status). She was also a member of the Deputation for Education.

In 2015 she ran again as the top candidate of the Bremen Left for the citizenship election .
In the 19th legislative period, the parliamentary group leader is a member of the Deputation for Education, the Constitutional and Rules Committee and the Parliamentary Control Commission (guest status).

Since August 2019 she has been Bremen's Senator for Economy, Labor and Europe in the Senate Bovenschulte as the successor to Senator Martin Günthner (SPD).
