Ingelore Rosenkötter (born July 24, 1953 in Bremen ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and was a member of the Bremen Parliament . From 2006 to 2011 she was Senator for Labor, Women, Health, Youth and Social Affairs for the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen .

After completing secondary school , Rosenkötter completed an apprenticeship as a bank clerk at Commerzbank Bremen from 1969 to 1972 and then worked there. In 1979 she took over the management of her parents' business. From 1989 she worked for the German Red Cross (DRK), initially looking after children and adolescents from ethnic German families and from 1998 as head of health promotion. From 1989 to 1991 Ingelore Rosenkötter attended the Academy for Labor and Politics at the University of Bremen and studied adult education . From 2000 to 2006 she was managing director of the DRK regional association in Bremen.

She lives in Bremen- Schwachhausen .

Rosenkötter became a member of the SPD in 1997.

On November 2, 2006, she was elected as Senator for Labor, Women, Health, Youth and Social Affairs in the Senate of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen headed by Mayor Jens Böhrnsen . On June 30, 2011, she resigned from the Senate. From then until 2019 she was a member of the Bremen citizenship.
