Albert Müller (born February 2, 1915 in Bremen , † September 22, 1991 in Bremen) was a German politician ( SPD ) and senator .

Life

education and profession

Müller learned the profession of bricklayer . From 1929 to 1933 he was active in the socialist youth workers . From 1936 to 1938 and during World War II he was in the Wehrmacht . After the war he worked as an employee of the American occupation forces until 1948. From 1948 he took over the job of a welfare officer. In 1963 he became head of the Bremen-Obervieland local office .

politics

Immediately after the war, Müller joined the SPD. From 1947 to 1951 and then again from 1955 to 1971 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship . From December 15, 1971 to November 3, 1975 he was Senate Koschnick II Senator for Health and Environmental Protection.

Honors

A street in Bremen-Obervieland has been named after Albert Müller.
