Sebastian Walter (politician, 1990)

Sebastian Walter (born April 21, 1990 in Eberswalde-Finow , GDR ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ). In the state elections in Brandenburg in 2019 , he received a mandate in the Brandenburg state parliament .

Life

After studying to be a teacher, Sebastian Walter worked as a trade union secretary for the DGB and as its regional manager in East Brandenburg.

politics

Walter was already involved in left-wing youth as a teenager. From 2014 to 2018 he was deputy chairman of his party in Brandenburg. He is a member of the district council of the Barnim district . Since September 4, 2019, he and Kathrin Dannenberg have been chairman of the parliamentary group of Die Linke in the state parliament.
