Dietlinde Greiff

Dietlinde Greiff (born February 17, 1939 in Berlin ) is a German actress .

Life

Dietlinde Greiff attended the 1st elementary school at Wollankstrasse 131 in Berlin-Pankow from 1945 to 1953 . Already here she found interest in acting and worked in amateur drama groups. After graduating from school, she worked as a pharmacy assistant , attended a medical college, which she finished as a medical-technical assistant .

This was followed in 1958 by studying at the German Academy for Film Art in Babelsberg , which she transferred after a year to the studio of the Rostock Volkstheater , where she passed her final state examination as an actress in 1961. Already during her studies she was on stage as an extra and small actress. She also gained experience in other theater activities, such as B. as assistant to the illuminator or as assistant director at the Störtebeker Festival in 1960 in Ralswiek . After a first engagement at the Volkstheater Rostock, appearances followed in Schwerin , Altenburg and Rudolstadt .

In 1968 Dietlinde Greiff left the GDR for personal reasons and went to West Berlin , where she learned another profession in which she worked for over 20 years. After the reunification in the GDR, Dietlinde Greiff returned to the artistic profession and since then has performed literary programs with her colleague Angela Brunner until her death in June 2011. Now she is active as a soloist with her own programs.

Dietlinde Greiff has four different professions in which she was also active, was married four times, has two sons and lives in Berlin.
