Dikanäs ( South Sami Gäjka ) is a place ( Småort ) in the Swedish province of Västerbotten County and the historic province of Lapland .
The town of Vilhelmina is located about 80 kilometers northeast of Vilhelmina . The Länsväg AC 1088 runs through the village. The roads AC 1077, AC 1093 and AC 1094 branch off here. The place is on the lake Dikasjön. The population is falling sharply, in 1990 Dikanäs was considered a crime scene .
Due to the great distance, Dikanäs is a center of the few inhabitants in the area. In addition to a school, there is an internet café, a grocery store and a gas station. There has also been a church since 1833, although it belongs to the parish in Vilhelmina.
