Meselefors ( South Sami Miesiegoejhke ) is a place ( småort ) in the Swedish province of Västerbotten County and the historic province of Lapland .

The place of the municipality of Vilhelmina about 25 kilometers south of Vilhelmina . The inland railway and the European route 45 ( Europaväg 45 ) cross the Ångermanälven river on the southern edge of the village . There the Riksväg 90 branches off , which follows the Ångermanälven downwards, first past Åsele and on to the mouth, where it reaches the European route 4 ( Europaväg 4 ) not far from Härnösand .

At Meselefors there is a campsite with a hostel (Vandrarhem) on the opposite, right bank of the river .
