Dimitrios Kourbelis ( Greek Δημήτριος Κουρμπέλης , born November 2, 1993 in Korakovouni , Greece ) is a Greek football player .

Career

Kourbelis began his professional career in 2011 at Asteras Tripolis . At Kallithea Koutroubis was active until December 2016 and came to a total of 89 appearances in the top Greek league during this period. In the same period he played 16 European Cup games. Outstanding was the participation in the UEFA Europa League 2014/15 when Kourbelis reached the group stage with his club and on the way there a. a. prevailed against Mainz 05 . In 2013 he reached the final of the Greek Football Cup with Tripoli , but lost there to Olympiacos after extra time with 1: 3.

On December 23, 2016, Panathinaikos Athens announced the signing of Kourbelis.

National team

Kourbelis made his debut for the Greek national football team under Michael Skibbe on June 9, 2017. The opponent in a World Cup qualifier was the team from Bosnia and Herzegovina .
