Dimitrios Kolovetsios ( Greek Δημήτριος Κολοβέτσιος , born October 16, 1991 in Larisa ) is a Greek football player who plays on the position of central defender .

Career

society

Kolovetsios began his professional career in January 2009 with AE Larisa where he was under contract for three seasons. With Larisa he was relegated to the second division at the end of the 2011/12 season and then moved to PAS Ioannina . He played at PAS for two years and established himself there as a regular player. In 2014 Kolovetsios moved to AEK Athens who were playing in the second division at that time. With AEK, he made promotion to the first division in his first season. He made his European debut with AEK in the 2016/17 season and made two appearances in the UEFA Europa League . Kolovetsios has been under contract with Panathinaikos Athens since January 2017 .

National team

As part of the UEFA Nations League , Kolovetsios was appointed to the squad of the Greek national team for the first time in September 2018 by coach Michael Skibbe .
