Yassin Ayoub (born March 6, 1994 in Al Hoceïma ) is a Moroccan - Dutch football player .

Career

Club career

Yassin Ayoub was born in Al Hoceïma , Morocco and started playing football as a youth at Ajax Amsterdam before joining the youth team at FC Utrecht . From 2009 to 2012 he played for the club's U17 and U19 juniors. From 2012 he played for the first team of FC Utrecht in the Eredivisie for six years . Before the 2018/19 season, Ayoub moved to league rivals Feyenoord Rotterdam . In January 2020 he terminated his contract with Feyenoord and went to Greece to Panathinaikos Athens .

National team

Yassin Ayoub played various games for the Dutch U-17 , U-18 , U-19 and U-21 national teams .

He won the 2011 U-17 European Championship in Serbia with the Dutch U-17 juniors after he was diagnosed with heart problems.

In 2017 Ayoub decided to play for the Morocco national team.
