Ding Jianjun

Ding Jianjun ( Chinese  丁建军 , Pinyin Dīng Jiànjūn ; born October 6, 1989 ) is a Chinese weightlifter . He became world champion in featherweight duel in 2009 .

Career

Ding Jianjun lives and trains in Fujian . He has been lifting weights for several years, but was not used as a junior in any international championships. He is z. Currently a sports student and, besides his studies, only devotes himself to weightlifting.

For the first time he appeared in 2008 when he was at the University World Championship in Komotini / Greece and there in featherweight with 310 kg (140-170) before Sardar Hasanov from Azerbaijan , 277.5 kg and Oleg Sirghi from Moldova , gained 260 kg and was clearly superior.

In 2009 he finished in the Chinese championship of seniors in featherweight with 317 kg (146-171) the 2nd place behind Yang Fan , who achieved 326 kg (149-177). In order to gain experience in international championships, he was then used at the Asian Championship in Taldykorgan / Kazakhstan and won there in featherweight with 310 kg (141-169) before Cha Kum Chol from North Korea , 305 kg (140-165) and Yang Sheng Hsiung from Taiwan , 288 kg. Together with Yang Fan he went to the world championship in Goyang / South Korea and was able to become world champion with 316 kg (146-170) . Second place went to Eko Yuli Irawan from Indonesia , 315 kg (140-175) in front of Yang Fan, who with 314 kg (144-170) remained a few pounds behind his performance in the Chinese championship.
