Dipropylene glycol phenyl ether is a yellowish liquid with a faint odor. The technical product contains 40 to 75% DiPPh in addition to polypropylene glycol phenyl ethers and propylene glycol phenyl ether .

use

Dipropylene glycol phenyl ether is used as a coalescing agent and as a surfactant (e.g. in mining and household cleaners) and as an intermediate in the production of other chemical compounds.
